Picture your pup’s future and start the New Year with two Puppy Development Workshops. Each event includes “PICTURE This!” foundation elements of Play, Impulse Control, Conditioning, Thinking, Understanding, Rewarding, and Energy. Through fun and engagement with you, these elements can support your dog’s learning. Workshops will use “stations” with each instructor throughout the event.
Jan. 6: Life skills that translate easily to agility and other dogsports, including offering behaviors, marking success, building drive, engagement, and ability to handle environmental distractions.
Appropriate for puppies and young dogs 10 weeks and up.
Limit 12 working teams, unlimited auditors. Multiple teams will work simultaneously, giving your dog an opportunity to begin learning to work with distractions. To set you pup up for success, we recommend you work on a name recall with your pup in advance.
Jan. 7: Agility Primer: Interactive handling games, wings and tunnels, jump bumps and planks, to support your dog’s introduction to agility. A non-pressure way to increase puppy confidence and your clarity as a handler.
Appropriate for puppies and young dogs 4 months and up.
Limit 10 working teams, unlimited auditors.
$95 per workshop for working spots -- FULL, auditing available
$25 per day to audit.
